What is TRX?

Total resistance exercise - or TRX as it's more commonly known - is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. 

 

TRX uses straps hung usually from a ceiling, with loops for hands or feet on either end. In general, a part of your body will be suspended above the ground, you’ll be leaning into or away from the straps to create resistance and destabilization. Knocking your balance out of whack gives you no other option but to adjust, which means engaging the midsection and back and firing up the shoulders and hips to maintain control throughout the movement.

Our Class

Our class focus is multi-joint movement, strengthening through body weight and leverage based exercises using TRX suspension with an emphasis on core stability and strength. Intensity varies based on individual and all fitness levels are welcome.

It is with heavy heart for us to announce that we will be ceasing operation at BreadTalk IHQ and our last day of business will be 19th February 2023 (Sunday).

 

Our lease will be expiring soon and the increase in rent is definitely beyond our means during this trying time.

 

We advise all members to complete their existing package before 19th February 2023. Please note that your existing package cannot be brought forward to the new location.

 

We will be announcing the new location once details are confirmed.

Barre Fusion

Get ready to sweat, burn & flow in this dynamic prop based mat class. Designed to be at an intermediate pace, experience dynamic floor work through pilates, aerobic, cardio, HIIT, movement practices. Using at least 2 props this total body workout, will get you working up a sweat, but still mindfully moving at a safe pace to pumping beats.

Suspension Barre 

Experience a new way to barre with Suspension Barre, think plies, tendus, curtseys done to a cardio barre flow with music along with our Suspension Trainer. Get ready to be challenged while suspended in mid-air.

Pilates Fusion

Experience Pilates with a twist. Using classic Pilates Mat movements combined with equipment such as Pilates Circle, Resistance Bands, Stability Ball, and also a Foam Roller Each class is meant to challenge your overall core stability through isolated movements with a challenging flow and cardio sequence, thus lengthening, strengthening, and toning the body - Pilates style.
