Aerial Basics

This class is designed to cover the basics of Aerial Yoga. Learning how to invert, fly, and flow, we will use the silk hammock to keep alignment, build strength in the body and improve flexibility. Appropriate for first time Aerial students as well as those who want to continue to learn or refine their basic Aerial practice.

Aerial Yoga Stretch

This class focuses on yoga related stretches done with the Aerial silk hammock. It will feature minimal inversions and is perfect for those wanting a good stretch.

Class is suitable for total beginner to intermediate level practitioners.

TRX Suspension Training uses your body weight and center of gravity to build functional strength, and improve balance and core stability. It is beneficial for people of every training level. The dynamic exercise program integrates strength and balance, which makes for faster results.

In general, a part of your body will be suspended above the groundor you’ll be leaning into or away from the straps to create resistance and destabilization. Knocking your balance out of whack gives you no other option but to adjust, which means engaging the midsection and back and firing up the shoulders and hips to maintain control throughout the movement.

Our class focus is multi-joint movement, strengthening through body weight and leverage based exercises using TRX suspension with an emphasis on core stability and strength. Intensity varies based on individual and all fitness levels are welcome.
